February. For a short month, we sure did pack quite a bit in.
Obviously getting to see The Wranglers play two nights in a row in San Jose (and win) was the highlight of the month! I wish my boys would move back to Stockton. I’ve said it before and I’ll keep whining about it til the come back!
Getting to try panettone for the first time was a close second. I splurged as a Valentine’s Day treat and got us a real deal one straight from Italy and holy delicious baked goods Batman! It’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life. This is not hyperbole. It’s light and fluffy and yet rich from all the egg yolks. I’m going to make getting one a yearly tradition for sure.
That suitcase in the featured image? Thrifter’s Regret. I wanted it, but didn’t need it and couldn’t justify bringing it home. Turns out it was a great find and whoever went to the thrift after me thought so as well; when I went back the next day, it was gone! But it’s okay. There will be other suitcases. I’m sure of it.
