








The end of the month brought a tattoo session—another kreepy kewpie in the books!—some delightful but definitely overpriced snacks, and more Halloween decorations.
I made a failed zucchini-quiche and spent more time devoted to making art. A little found-art sculpture exercise to stretch some brain muscles.
I was so ready for August to finish. It was so hot that everything felt slow and sticky and maddening. The sort of oppression that usually comes with southern humidity and lit candles and shrieking insects. Luckily September’s offered relief and rain.
