March 2026

In March, Spring had really sprung in Modesto!

Notable culinary highlights: deviled eggs with Roquefort, a kimchi burrito I dreamed up, fun fruit-shaped ice cream, onion instant noodles, and the opening days of the farmers market!

Notable accomplishments: I appeared in a local publication for Art Walk, and I participated in another Art Walk! Really trying to get my art out there.

I also got a sick tattoo, from Rob Mahurin at Inkwell Tattoo, original concept by Max of DecaffedEspresso. And then another little olive jammer by Rob’s apprentice at Inkwell.

I read “The Master and Margarita” which is both my FIL and my friend Juli’s favorite. It was SO fun and is such a good book and I definitely recommend it! Additionally I saw “Wuthering Heights” after finishing the novel the month before and I don’t recommend it. It’s a fine movie but not very accurate when it comes to the book—they literally skip the second half completely.

Cheers!
