











May went on entirely too long.
I got injured. I’m healing, but it’s slow and painful and I have a long way to go.
When I wasn’t in some sort of medical space, I was at home feeling pretty purposeless without the use of my predominant hand.
I did get to check out a new-to-me German restaurant with BP on one of my better days and it was really, really good! I love German food—my standards are high, and Kathrin’s delivers across the board! They have Obatzda on the menu, woodruff (in the month of May), the sausages are housemade. Just absolutely delicious.
California strawberry season is in full swing—red gems to tempt you everywhere you go: at farmers markets, in parking lots on dollies by the case, roadside stands and umbrellas on the corner of neighborhood intersections. I love this time of year.
