Up until this year I took great pains in planning out my garden. This time, I just didn’t have it in me. I saw a video over on the clock app where a gal planted a ‘chaos garden’ and fell in love. It is exactly as it sounds—you just scatter seeds and nurture what takes.
Mostly I planted blooms for pollinators, some herbs, a few stalks of corn. And then seemingly out of nowhere, a Swiss chard plant cropped up amongst the herbs. It was a beautiful plant and made for a delicious vegetable dish.
I’m really trying to focus on progress, not perfection, in any opportunity that presents itself. So far, so good.
